Once again Flamstead has won the CPRE Hertfordshire Village of the Year competition.
Flamstead won the award in 2001 but were displaced by Redbourn last year. Despite this Flamstead managed to win 3 sections outright in 2002 but failed to win overall.
The winners were announced on 3rd July at Hertford County Hall and the 'Totem Pole' was unveiled in Flamstead on the School Green on Saturday 26th July.
